2 Down 5 to go. Cake get’s friendly with LOCOG.

The big one is only five years away… so we packed a couple of diggers, a laser system, a crane and 205 of the organisers into our suitcase and headed on down to the Olympic site to produce a press friendly photo for our new chums at LOCOG. (London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games). Despite winds strong enough to blow the toupee off Bruce Forsyth and rain hard enough to fill our wellies (polished to a shine post Glastonbury) in minutes. We came up with goods. Now we’re just holding out for our complimentary tickets to the Women’s Beach Volleyball.

Last night Cake produced a party for Nintendo of Europe out at E3 in Santa
Monica.

Over 200 journalists and trade rocked away till the small hours and had a
chance to try out some of the latest software being released over the next
few months.

Solset summer launching this week

Sol Beer’s summer activity is set to launch this week with a series of summer parties. The Solset is on its way to five UK cities - Glasgow, Manchester, Cardiff, Newcastle and London. Special guest DJs Rob da Bank, UnaBombers and Pete Gooding will be on hand to provide a glorious selection of summer sounds alongside resident DJs The Supafly Collective, Mexico’s own Daisy Heartbreaker and Sol’s special guest Mariachi band.

Throughout the summer months the Solset team will be driving through the five Solset cities in original Sol Beetles helping to bring a piece of Mexico to the proceedings. If you get thrown a lime while your out and about simply follow the instructions and go to www.sol-beer.co.uk as there is a luxury trip to Mexico up for grabs.
