Art Attack

Tuesday, February 20th, 2007

A bit of culture is what we need for a Tuesday afternoon and this week where better to look than the newly launched FREEDM portal, a portal allowing up and coming talent to showcase their wares.

Among the talent oozing from between the cracks on this site we found one artist who really tickled our collective fancy was the multitalented Orko. Check out the site for yourself and see if anything tickles your fancy!

Fancy yourself as a bit of a trend-setter? Well no self-respecting wardrobe will be complete this year without a limited edition Swarovski crystal Nintendo DS Lite.

Cake Overhaul

Thursday, November 9th, 2006

At last, a week at the helm of not only the company, but the Blog as well.

I shall feel doubly empowerd to talk shit.

November is already proving to be an incredibly busy month for Cake and we have gone pitchtastic with some excellent briefs in the house. It makes for a hectic time, what with the day to day and working up responses, but I love thinking up crazy ideas that mght actually see the light of the day - what could be more fun than that.

Today has been very much a thinking about Cake day. These are rare, so I enjoy them the most. Only one item on the agenda - Identity overhaul. 7 years on its time for a different look or Sapiens qui prospicit as I once learned. The logo, the website, presentations, the stationary, even the Cake reception as modelled here by Charlie.
