N-ice day for it!
The summer sun provided the perfect setting for the opening day of Ben & Jerry’s Sundae on the Common 2008, as months of blood, sweat and tears culminated in a spectacular day of live music and free ice cream.
A stellar line up including the mighty Charlatans, Guillemots, the Delays and Charlotte Hatherley set the tone for a day out for all the family, along with a host of other quirky activites including toe wrestling, egg and spoon racing and the legendary Ben & Jerry’s helter skelter.
The day ended with a few words from the King of ice cream himself, Mr Jerry Greenfield, as he introduced the Charlatans. The crowd were thrilled and stood in oar of the man who gave us legendairy ice cream with chunk factor.
