The blog may have been a little quiet of late, but that’s not to say Cakers have been too. Far from it in fact when there’s the small matter of ‘the quickest ever tour in the smallest ever tour bus’ to arrange. That’s right, the Mini Clubman Tour is upon us.

Fasten your seatbelts and turn the volume right up becuase New Young Pony Club has teamed up with MINI - the electronic pop outfit will play four exclusive London venues over the course of one night on 24 January 2008, with fans invited to attend one or all of the gigs free of charge.

And what better tour bus than the MINI Clubman itself - it’s the most spacious MINI yet so that means added comfort on the road and room in the boot for the band’s equipment too!
