Another week, another success for Nintendo. It seems like only yesterday when all media were talking about was how the Sony PSP was going to dominate the handheld market and the PS3 would take up the mantle left by PS2 to control the home console market.

The reality seems somewhat different with Nintendo’s products topping the Japanese sales chart every week since Christmas.

This week the humble DS sold more in the land of the rising sun than every other games console combined and even Nintendo’s scarcely available Wii outsold the PS3 by 5:1 (58,644 / 9,627).

Viva la revolution!
