Just another average day at Cake…

Royal Marines SAE Laura Bonney spent just another normal day out of the office on Wednesday at the Commando Training Camp in Devon. This time it was accompanying brave MSN Health journalists as they got a very first hand insight into what is required to make the grade in the persuit of the covetable green beret.

Entrusted with their camera her role for the day was to capture the highs and lows in pictorial form for a subesequent feature on the health pages of MSN - what she didn’t realise was that she’d be taking the pictures whilst also haveing a crack at the endurance course herself!

Look out for MSN Health Editor Ross Chainey’s account of the day on http://msnukhealth.spaces.live.com/ and a further article to follow from 2 March on http://health.uk.msn.com/

After Laura’s performance rumours of a rethink in the Marines’ selection criteria to allow women to join the ranks have been strongly denied by a MOD spokesperson.
